While Coronavirus rages outside, we sit quarantined, like that prophetic family on an arc, together. Not rain, but disease fills the outside world. Every once in a while, I spend some time outside, moseying around the first budding flowers, thrusting through the remaining fringe of snow. I'm not here to talk about quality. The general verdict seems to be that “Jesus is King” is a refreshing “Christian” album but a mediocre Kanye album that speaks more to the scope of contemporary gospel music than to anything else. The point is that whatever artistry Kanye commands, he’s had a tumultuous relationship with his faith.

    For our print publication, we will be conducting content editing in person. At the Elm Institute, and guided by Peter Wicks, you will be paired with a partner and will each edit each other’s pieces for content and discuss what worked and what didn’t.

  • Copy Editing Workshop

    For our print publication, we will be conducting copy editing in person. You will be paired with a partner and will each edit each other’s pieces for grammar and punctuation, and polish off anything else needed in the draft.
